Cruise Nights

Rev up your engines and cruise on down to Kincardine's Cruise Nights, where classic car enthusiasts gather to showcase their vintage rides.

From muscle cars to hot rods, to special interest vehicles and motorcycles, admire a stunning array of gleaming autos while enjoying live music, food vendors, and bonding with fellow car lovers. We’ve got prizes and trophies, too!

Join us on Queen Street in Downtown Kincardine this summer on three evenings:

  • June 28th, 2024, from 6 to 9 p.m.
  • August 2nd, 2024, from 4 to 9 p.m.
  • August 30th, 2024, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Canada Day Celebrations - All Weekend Long!

Get out your red and white to celebrate our nation's birthday! Join the community in celebrating Canada Day with a weekend full of fun!

Start your long weekend fun with the first Cruise Night of the 2024 season in lakeside downtown Kincardine on Friday, June 28th from 6 to 9 p.m.

Let's go to the outdoor movies - in Tiverton!

You're invited to join us Sunday, June 30th, 2024 starting at 5 p.m. at the Tiverton Ball Diamond, for a Movie in the Park!

Come on out for some great family-fun with a touch-a-truck event, a barbecue hosted by the Tiverton and District Lions Club, food vendors, and family activities.

Children are invited to create their own Drive-In Car out of a cardboard box at the event, or arrive in style in one they created at home. Each child who has a sweet cardboard ride will receive a glowstick and be entered to win the best drive-in car!

At dusk, Shaun the Sheep, a family-friendly movie will roll with concession snacks available for purchase from the Lions.

July 1st Celebrations

Kincardine knows how to celebrate Canada’s Day!

Festivities begin with the traditional parade at 3 p.m. Monday, July 1st, 2024, on Queen Street in downtown Kincardine, and following you can join us for some lakeside celebrations in Dunsmoor and MacPherson Parks.

Live music from Boiler Beach, food vendors, face-painting, a children’s carnival, and lots of family-friendly activities are planned for to celebrate the true north, strong and free! Invite your family, get your friends, and bring your neighbours to join in the Canada Day festivities.

The evening will finish with a fireworks show over Lake Huron at dusk.

Lighthouse Blues Festival

Celebrating its 15th year, the Lighthouse Blues Festival is a premier destination - and award winning - music event in Ontario.

Featuring both local and internationally renowned artists, this annual festival transforms Kincardine into a lively hub of music, food, and fun for all ages.

Harvest Dinner

Embrace the bounty of the harvest season at the annual Lakeside Downtown Kincardine BIA's Harvest Dinner. Local farmers, artisans, and chefs showcase the best of Kincardine's agricultural offerings. Feast on farm-fresh produce, homemade preserves, and hearty comfort food, with a five-course dinner all served with spectacular views of Lake Huron, live music, and entertainment.

Spooktacular

This annual event will help you get in to the spirit of Halloween! This frightfully fun celebration hosted by the Lakeside Downtown Kincardine BIA is fun for the whole family.

Dress up in your spookiest costume, explore haunted attractions, and participate in trick-or-treating festivities as the town comes alive with eerie decorations and ghostly delights courtesy of our downtown business owners.

Huron Grey Bruce Community Diwali Celebration

Celebrate the triumph of light over darkness at the Hindu Festival of Lights in Kincardine.

Join in traditional celebrations hosted by the Swajan Samanvay Sanatan Centre at the Underwood Community Centre, witness a spectacular fireworks display, and savour delicious Indian cuisine as the community comes together to commemorate this cultural event. Register online or by e-mail for this event happening on November 19th, 2024 from 4:30 to 9 p.m.

Hometown Christmas

Experience the magic of the holiday season at Lakeside Downtown Kincardine BIA's Hometown Christmas celebration. Marvel at the twinkling lights, festive decorations, and dazzling displays that adorn the town's streets and storefronts. Enjoy carol singers, horse-drawn carriage rides, and visits with The Big Guy as the community comes together to spread holiday cheer.
